Review of Slither (2006) by Trevor L — 20 Feb 2010
It's not entirely original, but Slither makes up with quirky humor and a tounge in cheek attitude. After a meteor crashes in the small town of Wheelsy, local man Grant Grant (Michael Rooker) begins acting strangely and his wife (Elizabeth Banks) notices strange growths on his skin.
When Grant disappears with a local girl, Chief of Police Bill Pardy (Nathan Fillion) rounds up a posse to find Mr. Grant and discover a whole new level of weird from there on in. The special effects are gross, gory and amazing to look at (if you're not squeamish about gory deaths).
A fun, silly, and outrageous horror movie worth your time.
