Review of Slither (2006) by Luis G — 15 Oct 2011
This movie's great. It's creepy, crawly, slimy, and potentially nightmare-inducing. It's funny, too. Nathan Fillion's humor is so fitting for this. Tania Saulnier's character seems a bit out of place and it would've been okay if she was only featured in the bathtub scene, but she's not annoying like so many other teenagers in these movies.
The film does a fantastic job of balancing CGI with traditional puppetry and rarely do the effects come off as overly fake. A gross riot to watch.
