Review of Slither (2006) by Ben B — 19 Oct 2012
"What kind of thing WANTS you to eat it?" This, along with a few other sick questions, are answered in James Gunn's (director of 'Super') feature film debut. This slimy, off-putting homage to B-movie horror is perhaps the most inventive of the genre, with story, gore, and even comedy all in balance.
Nothing, not even 'The Human Centipede' movies, has come close to the level of "disgusting" that this film portrays with such skill. Those with strong stomachs are in for quite a shock, and will be pleasantly surprised when they witness 'Slither'.
