For those who think Billy Bob Thornton can't act or write, watch this movie. Not only did he get nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of Karl Childers, but he won an Oscar for Best Screenplay.
Dwight Yoakam, Robert Duvall, John Ritter, and J.T. Walsh all give convincing performances, as well.
An unrelated note: why is Hostel listed in the "More Like This" section for this movie? This movie is a '90s classic; Hostel is, uh, not so much with the classic.
