It almost tricked me. Very well done film and only when it was almost over did I realize that underneath the surface story that was truly moving and thought provoking, there was yet another iteration of the PC narrative of the good gay guy versus the evil redneck.
It was a totally unnecessary, formulaic supportive story line. Unnecessary because evil does exist and can take many forms so choosing one from corporate sensitivity training manuals was really really dumb.
