Review of Sling Blade (1996) by Tim F — 17 Jun 2010

I have to give this a great score, mostly because of the sheer ingenuity and yes, allegedly, it was all or nothing, and it is even rumored, that after making the film, his wife divorced him, again rumored, but it sounds right, just like a woman to leave the guy right before he makes it big, that gets my respect and for the guy being willing to put it all on the line to make a movie, b budget for sure but he gets a solid B for the effort and the originality of the production.

Simple, pure acting and it sort of give you a view inside the real world of what most people face in their very real lives.
