Review of Sliding Doors (1998) by Luna W — 28 Sep 2010
This movie not only changed my night, but changed my view of life. I chose to believe in what the story represents. Helen would have two different romantic lives if she caught the subway train before the sliding doors close, or if she did not catch it and instead was left standing on the platform. But in the end, she would meet the person she is meant to meet anyway, even though life could have turned out in a different way.
So if there is someone out there for you, it would not matter if you missed him/her today or tomorrow by taking different buses or going to different restaurants. You will meet him/her one day, if it is not today or tomorrow.
