Review of Sliding Doors (1998) by Sam N — 07 Jul 2012
Romantic comedy-drama gets points for having an original premise for the genre, which is fairly rare. The story isn't terribly cliche in either of the timelines. Paltrow's accent is only half convincing, especially when compared to legitimate Brits around her.
John Hannah is actually pretty good, whereas I want to kick John Lynch throughout the movie...although I think that is intentional. Ultimately, if your in the mood for a rom-com-drama-girly movie...you could do worse.
