I really wanted to like this movie. But, I couldn't. One of the things I truly hate is when there's a scene in a trailer that isn't in the movie. Well, about half the scenes in the trailer are not in this movie.

I was expecting something totally different, like a clever, more psychological, terror. Instead, this was a stock monster movie with horrible effects and a plot with so many holes it barely made sense.

Considering the source material already had a rich mythology, it should've been ripe for a truly scary flick. This wasn't even close. I hope someone comes along and does it justice so we can bury this mess.
