Not impressed. very obvious that they were targeting a young audience and also trying to keep the PG13 rating. this is understandable, but in addition the main issues were: character development (No real protagonist, also the viewer finds it hard to connect with/relate to and ultimately care about the characters), almost no plot and holes all over the little bit of plot there was. seemed like the movie creators were hesitant and didnt just go for it and make the movie scary. too many scenes of characters texting back and forth. couldve done soooo much better. also yes this is one of those movies where they put amazing scenes in the trailer that arent actually in the movie.

Describe it in one word: disappointing.
