Review of Sleepy Hollow (1999) by David A — 16 Sep 2015
Choosing style over substance, "Sleepy Hollow" is just another Tim Burton's tale that sacrifices story and actors for quirky humor and a dark atmosphere. It's a beautiful film, but the story is weak and Depp's performance as Ichobad is both over-the-top and forced.
Not Burton's best, but one of his entertaining ones.
