Review of Sleepless in Seattle (1993) by Ashley H — 08 Jul 2014
It may be unrealistic, but that doesn't matter. Sleepless in Seattle is a wonderful movie. Here's why: it builds tension throughout the entire thing until you feel like you're about to burst.
It's similar to Silence of the lambs, except in this sense it's a good tension. Some people may argue, OH HOW COULD IT END LIKE THAT. Well, because that was the intention of the movie, thats how.
The purpose is to build up until the point they meet. To put you through excruciating torture until finally in a five minute period they release everything. Sleepless in Seattle, is wonderfully acted and directed.
It's a must see if you like romance movies. Just an excellent watch.
