Certainly one of the best and most charming romantic comedies of the nineties. Directed by Nora Ephron, Sleepless in Seattle is fuelled by the wonderful chemistry between on screen couple Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks.
The story is very sweet and original, about a man who having opened up on a late night radio show about his difficult life as a lonely widower and single parent catches the attention and sympathy or the female radio listeners, and one woman in particular.
Great heart warming memorable moments and a movie that feels as magical as the classics, in fact openly inspired by some of them from Pillow Talk to An Affair to Remember.
