Review of Sleepless (2001) by R.john X — 16 Mar 2010
Sydow is excellent as the faulty memory retired inspector, slowly resolving a case that would not stay dead. A fairly competent Argento, with Caselli playing the part usually reserved for Asia. Some gruesome deaths, but the gore is fairly light and the lighting not at all effective.
We've seen the solution a few other times in giallos, but it is pretty good in this one too.
