Review of Sleeping Beauty (2011) by Randall Q — 18 Aug 2012

Two stars. Because Emily Browning is sexy.

I found the film boring. A lot of naked old man and a lot of pretentious monologues. I didn't care for the main character. The whole film reminds of "Eyes Wide Shut," but instead of being a gripping, psycho-sexual drama it's a drab hour and a half attempting to pass as a film with a purpose.

Yes, I said Emily Browning is sexy. But it's pretty hard to be sexy when you're being fondled by a naked old man. And that happens in this movie. A lot.
