It's extremely dated and relentlessly cheesy, and the two lead characters are quite boring, but Sleeping Beauty throws in enough luscious animation, vibrant colors, occasionally snappy humor, entertaining side characters, and surprisingly dark adventure sequences to pass as an appropriately fun and nostalgic Disney flick.
