Review of Sleeper (2012) by Chris S — 28 May 2008
One of the funniest of Woody Allen's. Thankfully he uses more verbal humor than Bananas' physical humor. The physical humor is a little funnier this time around but the funniest bits are, of course, Allen's signature witty dialogue.
Even his cinematography was surprisingly well-photographed and not as superfluous as it was in Bananas. However, despite its abundance of humor, the movie lacks the maturity in storytelling that Allen later had with Annie Hall.
