Review of Sleeper (1973) by Harlan H — 25 Apr 2009
A very interesting plot that opens up for many funny jokes, in the hands of the great writer and director Woody Allen. In the beginning a man is revived after being unconscious for 200 years, and in the dystopian future he must settle into, he encounters many weird stuff.
Some of the jokes and physical humour around this works and made me laugh a lot, while some things just felt silly. The skilful and beautiful Diane Keaton, together with Allen, forms a terrific couple in the leading roles.
Great passing of time, but nothing more for me.
