Review of Sleepaway Camp (1983) by Chris M — 09 Jul 2008
Memorable little camp slasher with a nice sense of realism amongst the kids in their foul mouthed, prank loving ways. The "interesting" acting is also a high point. Just check of the gleefully unhinged Aunt Martha. The strange acting and unfamiliar locations help give the film a sense of the almost nightmarish and disturbing. The ending is the real showstopper here. By far one of the most inventive and creepy horror endings of all time.
A real cult classic. Worth your time!
