Review of Sleepaway Camp (1983) by Jose M — 20 Sep 2011
Sleepaway Camp is a cheese ball slasher film with a lot of bad acting and writing, but it has some decent special effects and cheese ball owner. There are some decent performances from few of the cast and two characters that the audience will really hate.
I predicted the ending of the film because there are clues in there that will help you figure it out. However, this does not mean that I was left for surprise. I knew who the killer was, but thought what the heck when the film ends in a shocking note.
Summer camp looks like a nightmare, and not because there are killers, wolves, and bears, but because it comes off as a wooden Australia. Thank goodness for the slasher films.
