Review of Sleep Dealer (2008) by Helen D — 26 Jun 2008
A mood piece which I would have preferred if it had been real and contemporary. I don;t think the futuristic angle added anything, certainly not awe or excitement. It's a film about exploitation - the global economy and journalism both suck you dry and spit you out.
Nice Mexican setting, lovely looking main actors, makes you think about what's going on, right now.
