People take notes. This is not just an homage to 80s punk rock, but a crash course in the indie underground. Along the accurate (and superb!) soundtrack, there is a storyline that transcends the music.
It is also a breakout performance from Matthew Lillard, whom singlehandedly steers this riot of a film right to your heart.
