Review of Slavery by Another Name (2012) by Jim L — 14 Feb 2016
This documentary uncovers the brutal period in the South after reconstruction. It tells the story that Douglas Blackmon explains in his book by the same name. The book is so troubling I couldn't read it all.
This film captures the same horror in 90 minutes. It is an important part of U.S. history that never made it in to any history course I took in high school or college.
