Review of Slaughter's Big Rip-Off (1973) by Brad G — 01 Feb 2010
This Slaughter sequel starts off with one crazy horse chase, crop duster â??fly-byâ?? that needs to be seen to be believed. â??The mob put the finger on Slaughterâ?¦so he gave them the finger right backâ??curled tight around a trigger!â?? Definitely a solid sequel, and even though I really dig Ed McMahonâ??s The Big Man, heâ??s no Joker Hood Rip Torn and Slaughterâ??s pimp buddy just isnâ??t as interesting as Dick Gordonâ??s reluctant partner from the first film.
But there is still an excellent shoot out at the end and the final fight proves that Jim Brownâ??s Kung Fu is strong. Check it out. VF.
