As an actor, Jim Brown was a great football player. He improved over time, but I don't think anyone could have done much with this script. "Slaughter's Big Rip-Off" is really worth seeing only to see Ed McMahon playing an oversexed, drug-peddling gangster.
That's right: Ed McMahon has a SEX SCENE in this movie (thankfully off-camera)!
