Review of Slaughterhouse-Five (1972) by Bruno V — 09 Jun 2012
I love the novel, so I was expecting a little bit more from the movie. The problem is that it's stripped of all Vonnegut's narration, which to me was the best part of the whole book. I didn't hear the phrase "so it goes" once in the entire story, or any other philosophical ramblings.
That being said, it's still a damn good story, and the movie at least had that going for it.
