Review of Slacker Uprising (2007) by Kat A — 16 Oct 2008
Although this movie is just one big "look what I did!" it does illustrate the importance of voting. There was the tiniest gap in the popular vote and the highest voter turn-out for new/young voters.
If you want your country to go a certain way and you don't vote for it, you have no right to bitch if it doesn't happen. Overall it was a pretty fun movie, mostly because it lacked Moore's usual belabouring of his point and humiliation of others.
It was just an account of a bunch of stuff that happened. And that was enough. I wouldn't say it's something everyone should make a point to watch, but if you're looking for something to do some weekend, give it a download (it's available for free!).
