I enjoy mindless action movies as much as the next guy. Well, probably not because I like my escapist flics to at least offer a nod that they are laughing up their sleeves. The Rock plays this action hero straight and that's a problem.
As Dwayne Johnson is doing a media blitz selling this flic, I suspect even he knows this effort is a disaster.
