Review of Sky High (2005) by Eivind S — 28 Feb 2009

This was a film that my youth group chose to watch on movie night. I had a feeling that I would be only midly entertained at best but I went in with an open mind.

I think it did a good job entertaining the age group that was its target audience. The humour and action were both appropriate. The actors actually looked the age of their characters, which is rare in any Hollywood productions that portray high school students. There was even a moment or two that caught my attention, mostly due to some cool superpowers.

However, I spent most of the time looking at my watch than I did at the screen. So, from my personal perspective, it was lacking.
