The visuals were impressive, the setting was impressive, and the story wasn't half bad either. I only ever saw "Sky Captain" once, but I do remember thinking it was really interesting. The performances were a bit blah.
That's really the only negative thing I can think of, to say about it. Not a bad movie, by any means.
