It's not a perfect movie, but it is to me perfect popcorn entertainment and a loving tribute to the golden age of cinema and the matinee serials of the 1930's. The box office failure does not reflect the failure of the film, but the failure of the close minded audiences of America.
To me, this is a blockbuster that should have been.
