Review of Ski School (1991) by Scott A — 23 Aug 2013
Having just watched Hot Dog...The Movie, this was pretty much a massive rip-off of that movie. Pretty much the same exact plot, only this one had more antics, less nudity, but was far more fun in the end.
Like I said, if you've seen Hot Dog, it's the same plot. Unknown pretty boy skier comes to show his stuff. Falls for the cute blonde, but doesn't really get that going until he sleeps with an even hotter woman first. The bad guys try their best to get the good guys off the mountain. Shenanigans run wild.
This one did have more famous faces going for it, with Chainsaw and Kevin re teaming from one of my favorites, Summer School.
The acting is better as well, and the women aren't written as cheap sluts either. I actually loved Darlene Vogel as the cutie main girl the star of the show falls for, even though her acting is so-so. The standout is Charlie Spradling who is the most adorable thing in this film, but man is she a tease to the viewer here.
It was fun, if not forgettable, with some decent skiing footage in there.
