Review of Sixty Six (2006) by Liam P — 25 Oct 2007
Again, the English have provided a typically off-centre look at family in this predictable dramedy. There is nothing new in the dynamics of the story and while the characters and situations might be slightly renovated from the norm there just isn't enough to warrant raving about it.
The performances are uniformly lovely with young Gregg Sulkin quite strong in the lead role. The Hollywood ending sort of lets it down a bit too though I truly don't really know of any other way it probably could have ended.
