Review of Six Degrees of Separation (1993) by Gavin S — 25 Jan 2012
Different movie, that's for sure. I don't get the people who say this is a comedy, as there's nothing comedic about it really; it's more of a story of how a charming con artist makes his way into a couple's lives, and the impact is has.
Adapted from a stage play, which explains some of it for sure (in terms of some scenes rigid movements). Great performance from Will Smith very early in his career, and an Oscar nod went to Stockyard Channing for her great work too.
Give it a try if you're interested, but it's NOT a Will Smith movie at ALL.
