Review of Six Days Seven Nights (1998) by Susan R — 07 Aug 2010
I've heard this was horrible, but having my favorite leading man in it, I had to see for myself. While I wouldn't say it was horrible, I can admit it wasn't very good. Harrison had excellent humor and sarcasm, but pretty much zero chemistry with Anne Heche (who took a good 80% of the movie to find a bra).
David Schwimmer's character was like a more lame and irritating version of Ross. And while the movie is titled Six Days, Seven Nights, it plays like they're lost for a mere two or so days. And not ONCE during all their time stranded do EITHER of them even think about making an S.
O.S. sign - because that would too logical! In the end, it was enjoyable enough, in an "I'm aware of the lameness but still entertained" kind of way.
