Review of Sisters (1973) by Matthew P — 03 Aug 2011
This movie blew me away. The combination of dated 70s film aesthetic, Hitchcockian touches, DePalma's revolutionary split-screen stylization, and even B-movie horror effects all make for a guilty-pleasure classic.
This is a true horror film, one which revels in wrenching open the curtains of our psyche and diving into the darkest--and even most shameful--of fears. This surely makes for a must-see film of your lifetime.
