Review of Sir Henry at Rawlinson End (1980) by Jim L — 05 Dec 2007
This film is mad as a bag of cats. It does look beautiful in sepia. I'm finding it more absurd than hilarious. This is probably the weirdest film I have ever seen and i've seen some crazy films.
During the opening seen, somebody is wear a pair of 'Gibsons' (spats) looking very much like the ones made by Shellys (carnaby street) at the time. Popularised by The Jam. Nice to see these shoes imortalised in sepia.
