Review of Singles (1992) by Michelle W — 28 Apr 2012
Singles is one of my all-time favorite movies! The cast is an eclectic mix and all of the relationships reel the viewer into the film. There's tons of one liners that remain memorable, even after two decades later: "That's a very nice hat you're wearing and I don't mean that in an Eddie Haskell kind of way," "I was just nowhere near your neighborhood," and many more.
Whether or not you're a grunge fan, the cameos by Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, and others add to the movie. While the film is definitely classifable as "romantic comedy," it's an unconventional romantic comedy.
