Review of Singles (1992) by Rajneel S — 24 Jul 2008
Strong, soul-searching, glamorized romantic-drama about young people living in grunge-era Seattle is an interesting time-capsule and slice of life film that features some flawed directing by Cameron Crowe, but is bolstered by a meaty script that delivers in most scenes.
Lookout for director Tim Burton in a hilarious cameo as a video-dating director as well as on-screen blink-and-you'll-miss-them roles and performances by Seattle's biggest grunge bands. Great soundtrack to boot.
