Review of Singles (1992) by Jeremy P — 01 Jan 2010
A little messy. The problem with doing a film like this that has so many characters, is that if you're not careful, all the characters come off as paper thin with no emotional depth at all. There was the usual Crowe insightful dialogue in parts, and some very well scripted conversations.
Enjoyable enough, but this is early in Crowe's career as a film-maker, and it shows.
