I watched THE ROOM-MATE before SINGLE WHITE FEMALE.. even though I knew the complete plot.. I still liked it.
It's a wonderful thriller with awesome performances by FONDA AND LEIGH. The movie runs in such a good pace that.. It did hold me till the end. I didn't feel bored for a single second.
The movie is about Allie (Fonda), a software designer.. broke off her engagement.
She shared her place with a new room-mate Hedra (Leigh).
Hedra became obsessed with her.
Direction and Screenplay are top notch.
Cinematography is okey.
In LAKE PLACID, last I saw fonda.. and I liked her in that movie. But with this movie.. I liked her even more.
Really Really Good performance.
JENNIFER JASON LEIGH, is star of the movie.
She acted perfectly as a character of psycho obsessed Room-mate.
IT'S MUST WATCH THRILLER.
The remake of the movie THE ROOM-MATE (2011) is nothing compare to this one.
