Review of Singin' in the Rain (1952) by Aaron R — 17 May 2011
For a film that's about to turn 60 in 2012 it still is, and will probably always be, the greatest musical ever made. It's effervescent, it's funny, it's beautifully performed and it's so spectacularly set up that you'll just beam from start to finish.
Utterly flawless, stupendously magnificent and completely unforgettable. You are doing yourself the greatest injustice if you haven't seen this film.
