Aw, man! Where are these movies now? Musicals, I mean. I remember reading a Mad magazine thing that said they wish the musical would stop rearing its ugly head amongst all the other genres. What a waste of an argument THAT was.
As musical films continue their belated comeback, let's hope they realise why this is considered the greatest: Because it NEVER-LETS-UP!!!
