Review of Singin' in the Rain (1952) by Rob S — 15 Jul 2012
For all it's beauty, the Broadway Melody Ballet drags on a little too long. And that's the only downside of an otherwise glorious movie musical. Gene Kelly is charming and downright sexy. Debbie Reynolds is pure, adorable, lovable.
Donald O'Connor is hilarious and warm. Jean Hagen steals her every scene. One of the last of the great golden age musicals, perfect for anyone, at anytime.
