Review of Singin' in the Rain (1952) by Andrew D — 31 Oct 2012

There's singing and dancing galore in this classic movie musical about, well, the movies! I had so much fun watching this film. It's about a publicity couple who are the stars of the silent cinema.

However, the studio they work with is in trouble once the talkies come in. They try to make a talkie of their own, but the pre-screening hates it. Soon, the actor Don Lockwood, his girlfriend Kathy, and his best friend Cosmo come up with an idea to save the studio.

This is a must-see musical. It's the best that musicals can get. With entertaining musical numbers every 5 minutes or so, Singin' in the Rain is a real hoot!
