Can you really bad-mouth this film? No, you can't. If you do, you're Satan. Plain and simple.
Naturally, it is a product of the times, and the film goes about as such. However, it sure as hell was innovative, combining a very likeable and interesting character with amazing song and dance numbers. Singin' in the Rain is, was, and always will be, a classic.
