Review of Singin' in the Rain (1952) by Victor L — 26 Feb 2012
I loved Singin' in the Rain. It's a flashy, entertaining and inspired tribute to silent Hollywood and the transition from silent to talky movies. The old songs taken from 30's, 40's MGM movies shine here.
Gene Kelly was at top form. Debbie Reynolds was charming and proved to be a fantastic dancer. A classic everybody should watch at least once in a lifetime.
