Review of Sing Street (2016) by Joseph P — 29 Aug 2016
One of my new favorite movie musicals!
The whole ensemble is charming and John Carney's respect and love for his characters truly shines through the entire film. The music is outstanding and serves to express what the characters are thinking and feeling at all times. The story may not be the most original, but I honestly can't think of a time where this type of story has been told better.
Even if you aren't the biggest fan of musicals, I strongly urge you to give this a shot. You won't regret it.
