Review of Sing Street (2016) by Michael D — 04 Feb 2018
Loved the music = added nostalgia for the 80's. Uplifting, funny, poetic and sweet with a realistic sense of tension and drama + love story. I struggled a bit with the accent at times but it didn't interfere with understanding conversations or plot.
The characters were well developed. The older brother mentoring his little brother made me regret not being a better older brother. Watching the band grow and very quickly find their sound was perfect.
