Particularily strange movie that really goes all over the place. A torch singer marries rich, but the guy's a womanizing louse, the relationship soon turns tragic. That's all you REALLY need to know.
But just try to follow the genres this movie slip into on the drop of a hat. Slapstick! Musical! Courtroom drama! Suspense! Weepie! Etc etc. Bizarre.
